Since Melinda has been in the school she only has one friend. The only person that Melinda has talked to would be this one new girl named heather. Heather has barely moved into town from Ohio. Melinda and heather’s relationship is a good friendship I think. I think that Melinda and heather’s friendship is actually a good friendship. I think that their friendship is a good one because they started hanging out a lot.
Melinda has seen that she has to get a friend after what happened in the bathroom when Rachel ignored her. Rachel used to be one of Melinda’s best friends until the end of summer when they say she called the cops at a party, after that Melinda told herself that she needs to get a friend. The only person Melinda has actually has talked to all the time she has been at that school would be this girl named heather because heather is new and does not know what happened last summer, so that’s why Melinda chooses heather as a friend. I think that heather chooses Melinda as a friend so she at least has a friend to talk to in school and hangout.

I agree with you to an existent. Yes they may hang out a bunch but I wouldn’t say their relationship is great exactly though. That is her only friend but it almost seems like she is always judging her friend in her head constantly. She may not say it aloud but it’s like she is being fake around her because she doesn’t want to loose the only one that talks to her even though she did what she did this summer.

I agree she does only have one friend. She needs to strat opening up a little bit more so that she can make new friends. If she does that she will feel better about her self and her friends that she can trust.

I partially agree with this. I don't think she is friends with her because she doesn't know what happen last summer. "She at least has a friend to talk to in school and hangout," This sentence is true everybody needs at least one friend to hangout at school and after.
I would say she s got a good friend to. To me she doesnt notice who are people are yet so she wont find friends tell she gets a way of standing out so maybe some one will talk to her first.
i agree. i think that they have a good relationship because Melinda wanted a friend just to have a friend not just to hangout or anything. They have been hanging out with each other so that is why they have a good friendship together.

You are a great kid when you want to but you need to get your butt and I think that your right because I know what Melinda is feeling and You are a smart kid too so dont change that.
To start off good job using facts from the book, however i don't like how you wrote it. You repeated yourself a lot and that is annoying. You also need to capitalize names.
